PROJECT
Noyal Pontivy
LOCATION
Noyal-Pontivy, France
DATE
2003
The five stained glass windows of the chancel and the west wall one illustrate Sainte Noyale’s life, patron saint of the 15th century church. The name ‘Noyal Pontivy’, like those other ‘Noyal’ in Brittany, comes from ‘novialum’ which mean “newly cleaned up land”.
The main window is a master piece. We have manage its restoration by putting off each piece of glass and stone. The newly assembled art work strictly follows the original organization, with great respect for this local heritage.
